Etemad /ɛtɛmɑːd/: trust

Spanning centuries, the entrepreneurial family has been involved in many different sectors including trade, commerce, finance and construction across several continents. Building bridges between people and finding win-win situations have been a key characteristic.

Over 100 years ago, when it became compulsory with surnames, the family were encouraged by their partners to take on the name Etemad which means trust. This to honor the fair and just way the family had always done business.

To this day, the name and what it stands for is a key driver in how the members of the family and its partners do business.
